ACCOMMODATIONS - South Strand
The South Strand is often considered the "Quiet Strand" - comprised of Surfside Beach, Garden City Beach, Murrells Inlet & the historic Pawleys Island. To be sure, there are lots of things to do and see along the South Strand, but there are fewer traditional hotels and lots of condominiums and beach cottages. Murrells Inlet is the Seafood Capital of South Carolina. Some of the Grand Strand's most popular attractions are here, including Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach State Park.
